Northern California Golden Retriever
In Northern California, golden retriever rescue cares for any abandoned dog and helps breeders produce high quality puppies.
It is common knowledge that there are no ideal breeds and every dog has its own disadvantages. This breed is not perfect for everyone for a number of reasons. To keep this dog, you should have a fenced yard and enough place in the house. These dogs are not suited for the role of a calm house pet; they need hard daily exercise (about 30 minutes twice a day) to be in a good form. They also shed constantly and twice a year they lose most of their coats.

Northern California Golden Retriever -
dog, breeders
When choosing a pup, it’s very important to see both the sire and dam of the litter and ask for their health certificates, because the conformation, temperament, health and working abilities of a dog depend on its parents. It’s common with the sporting breeds to mature slowly both mentally and physically. It’s difficult to predict the dog’s showing or breeding potential when buying a puppy. Mentally, these creatures remain puppies up to three years of age. At a year of age, a dog will have its full height; the full weight will be another year or two in coming. In Northern California, golden retriever rescue cares for any abandoned dog and helps breeders produce high quality puppies.
