All dogs surrendered by their owners or found stray are tested for temperament and health. For rehabilitation, they are kept in foster homes. Foster owners access their personality and can help find a most suited family among those who wish to adopt a dog. When treated with kindness, abused dogs become very attached to the new owners and form close bonds with the new family. Problematic behavior is easy to correct with proper training in these intelligent dogs. If a problem arises during a period of adjustment, a dog can be returned, but it happens very rarely.
